Now in it’s second year, The Complete Game-Completion Marathon is a charity event organized to inspire the greater video game community to help those less fortunate.  Starting at 6PM on April 15th, and running for two straight days, players will work on unique video game challenges while having their exploits streamed on the internet for an audience to enjoy.  Players will be in costume. Some will play video games with their feet.  Another will play Donkey Kong Country and eat bananas. Spectators are encouraged to donate to support players in their endeavors. The CGCM is founded on the idea that helping people can be fun, and that charitable work depends on participation.

This years charitable partner is Accion. Accion has been working since 1961 to help people in developing countries to break out of a cycle of poverty. A premier global microfinance organization, Accion is a non-proft organization that is working to improve the lives of millions at a time, by supporting the growth and establishment of self-sustaining systems. You can read more about Accion at their website.

We hope you will join us on “Marathon Weekend” April 15-17th, and we would be honored if you would consider contributing to this great cause.
